Aπογευματινή οικοπεριήγηση στην κοιλάδα και τα υψίπεδα των Λευκών

Αυτό το Σάββατο 12 Δεκεμβρίου 2015, ελάτε με την ομάδα της Paros Hikes σε μια χειμωνιάτικη, μέτριας δυσκολίας απογευματινή οικοπεριήγηση στην κοιλάδα και τα υψίπεδα των Λευκών.

Θα ξεκινήσουμε από τις Λεύκες το μεσημέρι για να περπατήσουμε στην κοιλάδα γύρω από το μοναστήρι της Αγ. Κυριακής. Έπειτα θα πάρουμε παλιά ανηφορικά λιθόστρωτα μονοπάτια που θα μας οδηγήσουν στα υψίπεδα των Λευκών γύρω από τους Αγ. Ακινδύνους με καταπληκτική θέα στη θάλασσα και την Β-ΒΑ πλευρά του νησιού για να κλείσουμε την κυκλική μας διαδρομή στο χωριό μέσα από βατούς χωματόδρομους στα χρώματα του ηλιοβασιλέματος. Μια διαδρομή 11 χλμ και 4-4,5 ω. σε μεικτό τερέν και καθαρή υψομετρική διαφορά +/-180 μ. (με κάποια έντονα ανηφορικά κομμάτια).

Αναχώρηση από το Πάρκιν του Νεκροταφείου της Παροικιάς στις 13:10 ή από την κεντρική πλατεία των Λευκών στις 13:30.

This Saturday, December 12, join Paros Hikes on a special winter afternoon walk in the valley and the highlands of Lefkes! We’ll start from Lefkes village walking on some of the island’s oldest stone-paved footpaths, to roam around the vineyards, woods and olive groves in the valley around Agia Kyriaki monastery, then scrambling on the hills above the village around the secluded chapel of Agioi Akindynoi for magnificent views to the sea and the countryside, to end our walk in the colours of sunset & dusk going down the hill back to the village! A moderate diffculty hike on a variety of terrain, including old rocky and uphill footpaths (be prepared!) and ending in easy country lanes - 11 km, 4-4.5h, mixed terrain, net elevation clearance +/-180 m.

Departure from Parikia Cemetary Parking (opposite Parikia High School) @13:10 h (if you need a ride to Lefkes- limited places available) or from Lefkes central square @ 13:30h.
